Happy Father's Day!

Hello Friends,

Hope you had a great Father’s Day weekend!

We were busy at our kids’ baseball tournament.  We had so much fun and got a little sun burnt after the rain stopped J

Sunday was Father’s Day.  My husband had to work the whole day.  We were sad about that but at the same time we were very grateful that he sacrifices day after day so that he can provide for us.  We also thank our Lord that He provides the work for my husband to provide for us.

We are also very grateful for our own Dad’s and our children’s grandfathers.   They are still doing so much for their families.  They may not see it as a sacrifice …. Maybe that’s not the right word for what they do.  They have stepped up to the plate in their responsibilities as a husband, father and grandfather.  Father’s Day is that day to honor them and show our appreciation for what they do and to love them.

Here is the card we gave to my husband / kids’ dad.  We also wanted to have fun with him at the same time. Even though he doesn’t drink beer, we thought this would be a fun card for him.  The message inside the card reveals our love, admiration and appreciation for him… (I will leave that out of this post)

Here it is….

Here is the card that we gave my Dad.  There aren’t enough words to express my love, admiration and appreciation for him and all that he does.  He has been my compass in growing up….. He has been my anchor in rough times…..AND we have and are enjoying the journey of life with him being part of it…. That’s what this card is about….He does mean the world to me/us!

Now with that all being said…..

Thanks for stopping by!

Hope you have been inspired to share your admiration, love and appreciation to that someone special in your life.

Smiles and Blessings,

Tammy

Summer Afternoon Hostess Stamp Set

Hello Friends,

It’s been a busy week.  June is such a busy month with the kids and year end school stuff.

I did, however, get to my craft room. (Happy Stamper J)

The class I held this week was a Father’s Day class. Awesome masculine cards were made.  I will post those later….hehe….closer to Father’s Day.

In this post, I made some Thank You cards using the new Hostess Stamp Set called Summer Afternoon.

This set really puts the ‘aweeee, I just want to sit back and relax’ mode in….

I hope you like them.

Check out the new 2012 -2013 Catalogue where you can see the other Hostess Sets.

Wedding Shower Card

Hello Friends,

I’m going to share with you one of the cards that I had to keep quiet until today!

I went to a wedding shower yesterday and it was so nice to see the beautiful bride to be and her family and friends.

It’s nice to custom make a card to the bride’s wedding colors.  I found out her colors and I went to work.  I added a little 3D to have the 'WOW' factor to it.

The only sad thing about this card is that the color Concord Crush is now retired, however, it was perfect for the colors of her wedding. Her colors are purple and yellow…..beautiful together.

Here is the card I made especially for her:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed this post!

If you have any custom crafting you would like to do….get in contact with me.

Smiles and Blessings,
Tammy

Track & Field Day

Hello Friends,

We are spending the day at our children’s elementary school.  Today is Track & Field Day.  The kids love us being there and cheering them on!!

In the meantime, I’ve been working on another center piece (flower arrangement) made of paper flowers.  They are time consuming yet so rewarding.  I can’t wait to show you.

This particular flower arrangement is for a group of people that do so much for a lot of people.  They are dedicated, loyal and their hearts show how much they love what they do.

So, enjoy your day with family, friends or just by yourself.

Happy crafting!

Smiles and Blessings,
Tammy

Paper Roses

Hello Friends,

It’s been a great day.  There is nothing like heading to the craft room and coming out with a project you can’t believe you just made.

I absolutely love making flowers…. What’s up with that?  I guess it’s the time of year with weddings and anniversaries.  Flowers are a great gift for that special someone.

I made this center piece for that special someone or someone’s in my life. Don’t want to give too much information out...hehe.   At least the flowers will stay looking fresh for a while J

I bought a tutorial from Leigha Rock on Long Stem Roses a while back.  I put it to good use.  These particular roses that I made are like the Long Stem Rose tutorial but adjusted a bit.

I have posted three pictures just to give you different takes on how it looks.

Please feel free to leave a comment on what you think or perhaps send me a message. (Those are nice to get too.)

Here is the first picture taken on my kitchen table.

Don’t forget to check out the new 2012 – 2013 Catalogue.

Also, sign up for a class today.  You can see my classes posted on EVENTS.

I am looking forward to crafting with you.

Tammy

What A Great Weekend!

Hello Friends,

WOW!! We had a very busy weekend!  It all started on Friday, June 1st as my family spoiled me by celebrating my ?#? birthday.  It was so much fun sharing my birthday with them!

On Saturday, June 2, it was my Open House….WOW… everything looked great!  There were a lot of other events happening in the surrounding area, as we live out in the country, such as Grads, Rodeo's, Home Business Show and garage sales... so the numbers were lower than we expected, however, the good news is that there have been a few that are requesting another so they can come to it.(date yet to be announced or I may have a private show)  The display table ROCKED!  The Make It & Take Its were fabulous too.

Sunday was our family day.  My awesome husband decided to surprise our kids by getting them a quad…..so guess what we did….quadded…. is that a word?? Quadded…..lol…

Anyways, I had a bit of time and snuck off to my craft room and decided to challenge myself by making a Long Stem Paper Rose. WOW!!! It turned out pretty good….

I want to first dedicate this Rose to my family for everything they do for me and for everything they do for each other.  I love you guys to bits!! BTTS (Bigger Than The Sky)

Secondly, with all the celebrations going on with Grad….I want to dedicate this Rose to them…CONGRATS!!!

Now, with weddings and anniversaries coming up, I want to dedicate this Rose to those romantics out there! The bottle shown is Sparkling Apple Juice.

Thanks again for all your support and encouragement!

Don’t forget to check out the New 2012-2013 Catalogue.  There are fun fresh colors along with lots of new stamp sets that I can't wait to create with you.

Another Sneak Peak

Hello Friends,

Happy June 1st .... Today is my birthday ... Yah for me... Don't ask how old I am because I'll just tell you 29 and holding.  Like you haven't heard that before...lol...

Well, let's celebrate today not only because it's my birthday but it's the first day of the NEW  2012 - 2013 CATALOGUE.
Go check it out on my Stampin' Up! website: http://www.lovetocreate.stampinup.net/

Another stamper inspired me to make a little something but first I shall give credit where credit is due. Her name is Jackie Topa. She made these beautiful little tags out of the new 2012 - 2014 In Colors and one of the new stamp sets called Papaya Collage.

I took what she made a little further and added a tag that says "CELEBRATE" and put it together for a bottle tag on a Sparkling Apple Juice.....

So, what do you think?

Of course, I had to add the pretty paper bouquet that I just made the other day.

What a gift though, eh?

So many ideas you could do with this little tag on the bottle.

I'll be showing this off along with a whole bunch of other goodies tomorrow at my Open House....
Hope to see you there!

Smiles and Blessings,
Tammy
